Individual Level Descriptors
Our PE Level Descriptor range includes a vast number of PE level descriptors so that the PE Teacher can now assess and administer the Student in Performance and Creativity alongside the Key Processes, Key Components and Key Concepts.
The level descriptors will enable you to assess, monitor and moderate the students within the 6 Components of the PE National Curriculum:
• Outwitting Opponents
• Performing at Maximum
• Problem Solving
• Health and Safety
• Accurate Replication
• Exploration and Communicating
Within these descriptors the physical educator evaluates and analyses a students performances through the keyprocesses of the PE National Curriculum. These resources to enable the student and teacher to have a clear measuring and assessment tool to plan lessons and activities through challenging and differentiated tasks. These are described as "You can"statements that the students can see your statements and compare the same level descriptors where the students answer "I can" to the questions and statements for each level. The key processes that the students are analysed and evaluated on within the level descriptors are:
• Developing Skills (D/S)
• Making and Applying (M/A)
• Developing Physical and Mental Capacity (P/M)
• Evaluating and Improving (E/I)
• Fitness and Health (F/H)
