Edlounge is a progressive innovative resource that aims to raise personal
attainment, knowledge and understanding of the key core subject areas of Maths,
English, Science and Citizenship.
As a positive learning system in the relaxed and enjoyable environment of
interactive gaming, Edlounge presents a great motivational tool. Although
targeted at the disengaged, included, and excluded pupils it has already shown
its significance in whole school aspects for detention tools, cover sessions,
home educated, teenage pregnancies, fast track, injured and ill students.
This ground breaking resource creates an unbelievable setting for students to
learn and work whilst playing and having fun... Students are instantly engaged
in the lounge by earning virtual money from completing English, Maths, Science,
Citizenship, and PE lessons. Once they have successfully completed their
lessons they can spend that virtual money on their enterprises, games or at
virtual day out events.
