Sporting Key Concepts and Processes Products
Whole Part Whole Approach
Whilst developing the Key Concepts and Processes we were asked to supply a framework for Whole Part Whole Resources through the new concepts and processes found in the National Curriculum which would enable them to theme the areas and use a range of skills and strategies to Outwit, Perform and Evaluate. Therefore, in discussion we came up with the kPC-WPW System (I know! Please bear with us) to deliver games and whole part whole principles through the key concepts and processes. You obviously can’t do WPW principles in Accurate Replication and other aspects and concepts that the national curriculum state as they are specific for certain areas with Outwitting being a massive part of games based learning. The areas where the principles, themes, concepts and processes cannot be fitted within whole part whole lessons is why we think we now have four new methods to deliver high quality PE lessons
Through this new method the students follow our new adaptions from our framework to learn skills and generic principles of games through more game play and development whilst focusing on the key concepts and processes.
