Fielding Skills to Ouwit
To be able perform the basic fielding skills found in Cricket, Rounders and Softball and enhance their performances within these areas in small sided competitive games.
I want the students to develop their knowledge, understanding and performances when Receiving, Intercepting, Throwing, Batting, and Bowling to incorporate these into small sided games so that they are gaining to perform these at maximum levels. They should also be able to understand and know how to perform these skills and where these are used on a Cricket, Rounders and Softball field. I also want them to understand and know the simple laws used in the games and how players score runs, rounders, and points alongside umpiring. Throughout the phases students are constantly asked how to outwit opponents; evaluate performances; analyse strengths and weaknesses; whilst developing, adapting and refining these fielding skills.
