The PE Office New Key concept and Process Resources, Schemes and Lesson plans have been produced so that you can incorporate the Key aspects of the PE National Curriculum. Within every lesson we have included the aspect of Problem Solving through development and differentiation aspects.  These resources provide the perfect model to mix and match your Teaching styles and departmental approaches to delivering the new PE curriculum. These also allow you to either deliver Key Concept, Key Process, Sport Specific or Whole-Part-Whole. We have group together a range of lessons where students literally have to perform, explore, communicate above their maximum to succeed (but being 100 % safe). Alongside these components the new key processes are also incorporated into our lesson plans, descriptors, schemes, keywords and peer evaluation sheets:

• Developing Skills (D/S) • Making and Applying (M/A) • Developing Physical and Mental Capacity (P/M)

• Evaluating and Improving (E/I) • Fitness and Health (F/H)

Our Problem Solving area includes specific sessions in Athletics, Gymnastics and OAA where students have to work individually and in teams to overcome problems. These problem solving resources aim to develop the students knowledge, understanding, identifying, evaluation, exploration and communication skills within familiar and unfamiliar areas.

Throughout these lessons and scheme we highlight and make the students evaluate their own performances (PLTs) and others techniques / skills used alongside the tactics / principles used whilst overcoming problems. The students will use a range of approaches to see if they are beginning to understand basic principles and fundamental skills used when navigating, exploring and communicating safely and correctly
